Welcome to the Media Center at Crossroads!
It is our hope that you will enjoy all the wonderful resources available to you through our media program. The media center serves students in grades 6 through 12. The media center is staffed throughout the instructional day to meet the needs of all patrons, including staff and students. The media center is the information "power house" of the school and should be your first stop when needs arise.
The Crossroads media center houses books, magazines, newspapers, videos, computers, and other academic resources. The media center is open each school day from 7:15 to 2:40. Students may visit the media center to check out books or conduct research before school or during the day with a signed pass from their teacher. Students can check out a maximum two books for two weeks at a time. After two weeks, there is an additional three day grace period before fines begin to accrue on overdue books. Fines are 10 cents per school day when a book is late.
One of our goals in the Crossroads media center is to promote a lifelong love of reading. We strive to meet the needs of all our students by offering a wide selection of resources.
